State Licensure

About Us

State Licensure

Robert Cavelier University (RCU) is committed to full compliance with applicable state authorization and licensure requirements. RCU is an online institution, and students may be located in any state. The institution takes the necessary steps to ensure legal operation in the states where students reside.

Louisiana Authorization

RCU is authorized to operate as a degree-granting institution in the State of Louisiana. RCU holds the appropriate approvals from the Louisiana Board of Regents and other applicable state regulatory bodies to offer its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.

SARA Participation

RCU participates in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). Through SARA membership, RCU is authorized to offer online distance education programs to students across all SARA member states and territories. SARA participation enables RCU to provide accessible, nationwide online graduate education without requiring individual state-by-state authorization in all SARA jurisdictions.

Student Complaint Process

Students who have concerns that cannot be resolved through RCU's internal complaint and grievance procedures may contact their state's higher education agency. Information about state contacts for the student complaint process is available through NC-SARA and through the student's home state higher education regulatory agency.

Professional Licensure Disclosure

RCU's MBA program is a general business graduate degree. It is not designed to lead directly to professional licensure in any field. Students interested in professional licenses or certifications in specific areas should consult with the relevant state licensing board in their state of residence to confirm requirements.
